How many residents are there per home?
Our home is setup with 16 private bedrooms, each with its own private full bathroom for a maximum of 16 residents
Do you accept insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, or long-term care insurance?
We are 100% private pay, however, if you have a long-term care insurance plan, we will gladly help you complete all the paperwork needed to get reimbursed each month.
What is Residential Assisted Living (RAL)
Residential Assisted Living is the new alternative to the ‘big-box’ institutional style of senior care. RAL homes typically have a
much higher caregiver-to-resident ratio than big-box facilities and offer seniors a “home” environment within communities.
Do you accept residents with Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia?
Yes, those with memory loss or moderate, non-aggressive dementia are also well suited to a more intimate environment. Residents easily become familiar with the small setting, consistent staff and a limited number of other residents around them.
Is there a waiting list for Evergreen Gardens home?
We are currently accepting residents at Evergreen Gardens. Contact us or schedule a visit to secure a spot for your loved one. Spots do fill up fast as there is a very limited number of homes in Strongsville, OH and the surrounding area.
Is Evergreen Gardens a licensed care facility?
Evergreen Gardens is in the process of being licensed by the Ohio Department of Health as a Residential Care Facility.
Do I need to provide furniture?
To make the move in process easier, we offer the option to rent an entire bedroom set including twin bed, dresser, nightstand, chair and lamp. Residents are also welcome to bring their own bedroom furnishings. We do require all residents to secure a new mattress upon move-in to maintain our cleanliness and safety standards for all residents.

We provide multiple opportunities for residents to customize their room and surroundings and encourage residents to make their space their own.
What are the visiting hours?
As a residential assisted living facility, our home is staffed 24 x 7 a day and someone is always available to assist or greet visitors however we recommend standard visiting hours of 8am to 8pm whenever possible to ensure the optimal living environment for our residents.
How are medications managed?
We work with a licensed nurse and leverage an EMAR system to administer medications for your loved one as part of medication management program.
What type of activities do you offer?
Evergreen gardens is proud to offer a robust and comprehensive activities program. From arts and crafts and gardening to movie nights and music trivia and just about everything in between. We offer multiple activities each day, 7 days a week to keep our residents mentally and socially engaged. Participation is always encouraged but never required.
How do we evaluate if your loved one is candidate for our home?
We will perform an initial assessment to determine if your loved one will be a good fit.
